FOX premieres the new Tim Roth drama "Lie to Me" in its best available time slot, after a new audition episode of "American Idol."
Roth, in his first regular American series role, plays Dr. Cal Lightman, the nation's foremost deception analyst. Basically, without a pesky polygrath, he knows if you're lying or if you're telling the truth, which makes Lightman and his team useful to a wide variety of law enforcement agencies.
Joining Roth in the cast are Kelli Williams, Brendan Hines and Monica Raymund.
