As you may remember, back in the middle of December, when you were all worried about the holidays and gifts and eating too much, NBC gave you a 30 minute break from your upset with a sneak peek at this new White House-based comedy. Well, even if you don't remember, NBC did, and the show stars BIll Pullman as the POTUS and Jenna Elfman as the FLOTUS and other folks too (like Josh Gad). "1600 Penn" is settling into its regular time slot tonight, so step in side the oval office and laugh it up... things aren't going to be quite as serious here as they are in the real White House.

For the past few months we have gotten a weekly glimpse into a comedic version of the White House. Yes, you may insert your joke here about how the White House has been comedic for the last X number of years, but that's not where we're going. No, we are telling you about the Bill Pullman-starring "1600 Penn," which is a sitcom about the White House or, more accurately, the President's family within said house. This would be a completely different show if the comedy was about the house itself. How will the season end? Find out tonight.

Watching "1600 Penn" we can only imagine what Skip would be like at the NCAA tournament. Seriously -- we love the kid but he's something of a disaster and we imagine that putting him anywhere near any round of the NCAA tournament would drastically affect the outcome of a match or two. We don't want to tell NBC how to do its job, but don't you think it would be great if tonight's "1600 Penn," airing opposite the tournament, featured Skip ruining college basketball for all time? Within the fictionalized world of this sitcom, that would be a completely believable moment.
NBC is airing two episodes tonight, one at 8:30 and the other at 9:30.
