More than a decade ago, NBC gave us a new White House-based television show which helped if not define the network, reinforce the definition of the network. And, while "The West Wing" was regularly funny, it wasn't a comedy. Tonight, they'll be giving us an entirely different look at the most famous house in America--this time a true comedy--with this Bill Pullman-starring sitcom. As for us, we just hope that he gives as rousing a speech here as he did as the President in "Independence Day."
