Oprah Winfrey will return to Letterman after 8 years

Oprah, whose last appearance in December 2005 attracted headlines because of their "feud," will make a return visit with Dave on Aug. 1. Before her 2005 appearance, Oprah last appeared on Letterman's show in 1989.


Sex researcher Viriginia Johnson dies 2 months before the premiere of "Masters of Sex," the Showtime series about her life

Johnson, 88, was an orgasm expert who wrote two books on sexuality and was famous for her partnership with fellow sex researcher William Masters. Lizzy Caplan is portraying her on the Showtime series.
