With the overwhelming success of Deadpool, it’s no surprise that other superhero movies are delving into the R-rated turf. The latest on that list is Wolverine 3.

In an interview with Collider, producer Simon Kinberg said that the next Wolverine movie will be for the 17-and-over crowd. But then he dropped this little nugget about the Hugh Jackman film.

“It takes place in the future, and…it’s kind of like a western in its tone,” Kinberg said.

After seven different X-Men and Wolverine movies, the series has been seeing diminishing returns. In fact, 2013’s The Wolverine was the least successful of the franchise, grossing an adjusted $144 million in the U.S. Deadpool, on the other hand, raked in $362 million domestically.

The next Wolverine movie is slated for a 2017 release.
