The seemingly never-ending drama about who will be the next James Bond took another turn over the weekend, and this time it came from the mouth of one of the long-rumored candidates.

In a June 4 interview at Wizard World Comic Con, Tom Hiddleston remarked it’s unlikely he’ll play the famed spy any time soon. Daniel Craig is currently under contract to play Bond for the 25th installment of the franchise.

“I don’t think that announcement is coming,” Hiddleston said in response to a question about whether he’ll be the next Bond. “Your guess is as good as mine, to be honest.”

Hiddleston is currently among the favorites by British bookmaker Betfair, which places the odds on him at 5:1 to be the next spy to ask for a martini “shaken, not stirred.”

A release date for the new Bond movie has not yet been announced.
