The on again, off again Venom standalone movie at Sony is now back on again.

THR broke the news recently that the film is moving forward with Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach producing. The project has gone through several iterations as the studio planned what appeared to be a united Spider-Man universe with their available characters. That plan has since been abandoned.

Sony and Marvel/Disney have reached an agreement where they are sharing Spider-Man (now played by Tom Holland), who is set to appear in Captain America: Civil War. The proposed Venom movie will be entirely separate from the MCY and, seemingly, the new Spider-Man.

In the video above and below Roth Cornet and Clarke Wolfe pitch the Venom movie they want to see. Plus, how can Sony make their Spider-Man universe work?
