Traffic stinks. Everywhere you go, someone is cutting you off, honking at you and generally making your life on the road miserable (or perhaps I’m jaded after living in Los Angeles too long). But there might just be a cure for that if you have somewhere between $80,000 and $100,000.  And did I mention that with that cure, you get to pretend you’re Batman?

The Hero Batpod Vehicle from The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises is going up for auction September 27 and is expected to bring in a small fortune.  The two-wheeler features a Honda 750 engine, 31" Hoosier racing tires and little else. While it’s being sold in non-functional “rolling only” condition, chances are if you’re the slightest bit handy with a tool belt, you could probably figure out a way to get it running again. It won’t be street legal, but if you can afford to spend that much money on it, you can probably tool around your estate and people will be none the wiser.

The bike was used by Batman himself, Christian Bale, in The Dark Knight while engaging in battle with Joker. Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) also rode it during The Dark Knight Rises.
