During today’s D23 Expo in Anaheim, CA J.J. Abrams seems to have revealed the rough runtime for the upcoming “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

It’s unclear if the director meant to make the announcement, of if he let it slip while caught up in the excitement of the day. In either case, it sounds as though the initial cut of the film is coming in at about 124 minutes, so a little over two hours. 

That’s actually fairly restrained by modern standards.
