'Pokemon Go' players try to defend enslavement of Pokemon, fail miserably
SAN DIEGO - Look, I get it: Pokemon Go has taken over the world. What I don't get is why. At San Diego Comic-Con, I hit the convention floor to look for answers -- and what I found was far more disturbing than I ever could have imagined. Slavery. "Surveillance capitalism." Cheerful cosplayers completely unconcerned about Pokemon characters coming to sentient life and destroying the planet.
