Bummer news for Pitch Perfect fans eager for another sequel: You’ll have to wait a bit longer for the next installment about the Barden Bellas.

Pitch Perfect 3 will now be your Christmas present in 2017: It’s slated for a December 22, 2017 opening. This change means you’ll have to wait an extra five months for the threequel: It was most recently scheduled for July 21, 2017, after already getting a couple release date changes between August and July of that year.

Moving into that July 21 spot is fellow Universal comedy Girl Trip.

Pitch Perfect stars Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson have other upcoming projects you can see though: Kendrick-starring Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates opens next month, and Wilson has a small part in this summer’s Absolutely Famous: The Movie, along with the role of Ursula in the Little Mermaid live concert screenings happening in Los Angeles this weekend.

In Pitch Perfect 3, Kendrick, Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld, and Brittany Snow will reprise their roles, and Elizabeth Banks is returning to the director's chair.
