For those who can’t get enough Marvel (is there really such a thing?), Luke Cage is about to be unleashed on Netflix.

At a red carpet event promoting the second season of Daredevil, Cage’s star Mike Colter broke the news that his solo series will debut on the streaming format September 30. Cage, the ex-con-turned-superhero, was on numerous episodes of Jessica Jones and will also appear in The Defenders when it airs.

As for his own show, Colter said, “It’s going to be action packed from beginning to the very end. Trust me.”

Netflix is diving headlong into the superhero space alongside Marvel. With Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage, The Defenders and Iron Fist, they’ll have five series from the comic book library in production.

Luke Cage also stars Mahershala Ali, Frankie Faison, Simone Missick and Frank Whaley.
