Sure, David Anders' Blaine might be a drug dealer turned brain-pushing zombie building up a dangerous criminal syndicate, but he's also a thirty-something guy staying busy in Seattle, so it's no wonder that his thoughts periodically turn to Kurt Cobain.

In this HitFix Exclusive scene from Tuesday (May 12) night's "iZombie," Blaine is talking business, but he's also preoccupied with educating his frontmen on the early works of the Nirvana frontman.

I'm still curious about Blaine's master plan and what part Rose McIver's Liv plays in it, but now I also what to know what Blaine would think about Brett Morgen's "Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck."

Check out the exclusive clip above.

And check HitFix later tonight for my interview with Bradley James, who talks about Lowell's much more earnest interest in Liv.

"iZombie," newly renewed by The CW, airs on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m.

A long-time member of the TCA Board and a longer-time blogger of "American Idol," Dan Fienberg writes about TV, except for when he writes about movies or sometimes writes about the Red Sox. But never music. He would sound stupid talking about music.
