Jamie Lee Curtis is back where she started.

The star who made her name with such iconic late '70s/early '80s slasher classics as "Halloween," "Prom Night" and (to a lesser extent) "Terror Train" shows up in the first trailer for Ryan Murphy's new series "Scream Queens," and in the process almost recreates her famed "angry lunch" photos:

Theory: Jamie Lee Curtis is the killer here. Just spitballing! But think about what a delicious, ironic surprise that would be, given her storied background as a horror-movie victim. Or maybe it's too obvious? In any event, I can't think of a better use of her intimidating talents.

Also starring Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin and Nick Jonas, among others, "Scream Queens" is slated to premiere in September on FOX.
