Hugh Jackman’s got a suprising pitch for the next Wolverine
In many ways, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine has been the fulcrum of Fox’s “X-Men” franchise. However, the actor has often indicated that he’s close to being complete with his portrayal and has now declared that “Wolverine 3” will be his final clawed adventure.
In a recent interview with MTV for his upcoming fantasy film “Pan,” Jackman pitched a replacement if Fox should decide to move forward with a “Wolverine” reboot.
“I’ve been asked that question a lot,” Jackman quipped. “And I’m always like I don’t want to make it too easy on the studio to replace me. I’ve still got one more to do and I’m sure they’re already talking about it! He’s younger than me for sure. I think Tom Hardy could be a great one.”
Hardy, of course, played Bane in Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises.” What do you think? Would you like to see him take on Wolverine as well? His build is actually far more similar to the look of the comic character.
