Yep... that's The Thing.

As we kick off the summer movie season (and considering "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" screens for press tonight, summer is here as far as we're concerned), we're going to start seeing more and more images from the big movies that are coming out. Marvel has evidently decided to go all in on revealing the Vision in these last three weeks, with a new character poster arriving today on the heels of yesterday's "Entertainment Weekly" cover.

And now, finally, Fox appears to be getting serious about giving us some new "Fantastic Four" images to enjoy, starting with a direct, full-on look at The Thing which made its debut on Empire.

Like I said... yep. That's The Thing. I'm curious to see how big they've made him, and we don't have anything in that image that suggests scale. Even so, this is a departure from things I heard early on about how we'd see the character handled in this film. I genuinely have no idea what to make of the various rumors and conversations I've heard about this one, and I feel like whatever it ends up being, as long as it's not the Tim Story movies, I'm at least curious.

"Fantastic Four" is in theaters August 7, 2015.
