Game of Thrones gave us one of the most haunting sequences we've ever seen on the series with that dramatic open to the season six finale, "The Winds of Winter."

In fact, Hitfix's television critic Alan Sepinwall called it the best the series has ever done.

The impact of Cersei's great power play was helped in no small part by the outstanding score by Ramin Djawadi.

It's not every day that you see social media abuzz about a piece of music on a television series, but that was certainly the case last night.
