It’s a tale as old as time but now told anew. Today we have our first look (aside from behind-the-scenes set photos) at Disney’s upcoming live-action take on Beauty and the Beast. The first preview for the film debuted on Good Morning America and is now online.

In true teaser trailer fashion, this first preview shows us a bit of the film but leaves us wanting more. There are shots depicting the passage of time inside the Beast’s haunting but gorgeous chandelier-adorned castle, the voices of Lumiere (Ewan McGregor) and Cogwsorth (Ian McKellen), and a little glimpse of Emma Watson’s Belle reaching out to the all-important rose (though not enough of a glimpse to really see her surely stunning costume) — all set to an instrumental re-arrangement of the prologue music and title song of the 1991 Beauty and the Beast animated film.

Beauty and the Beast opens in theaters on March 17, 2017.
