It’s July 15, the day that Doc Brown would probably say “contains some sort of cosmic significance, almost as if it were the temporal junction point for the entire space-time continuum”— for a certain pair of on-and-off lovers: Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew.

It’s been nearly five years since the release of the film adaptation of One Day — it was released in August 2011 (a major missed opportunity, IMO, as July 15 was on a Friday that year).

One has to wonder if an adorable pair are again climbing that hill overlooking Edinburgh today, on July 15, 2016.

Meanwhile, Emma and Dexter’s real-life counterparts, Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess, look like they haven’t aged a day. They recently reunited on The Late Late Show with James Corden, which delivered quite the funny story from Sturgess that got a big burst of laughter from his now-Oscar winner co-star.
