She’s played a queen and an elf (who was also a queen...), and now she’s joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Cate Blanchett is in early talks to join the cast of “Thor: Ragnarok,” Variety reports.

The news comes just after Blanchett picked up SAG and Golden Globe nominations this week for her performance in “Carol.”

No word on which character the ever-stunning two-time Oscar winner would play in the sequel, set for a November 3, 2017 release. The Variety report says she’ll play “one of the new female leads” in the film — new to the MCU, we assume, and not a totally new, original character.

Will she play the Enchantress? Or Valkyrie? Or will she stoop to play a human?
