You want to freak out your friends? Take a page from an exclusive clip from "Dinner with Friends with Brett Gelman and Friends" (premiering Thurs. April 24 at midnight ET/PT on Adult Swim). While Gelman ("Eagleheart") seems to just be inviting his fancy Hollywood pals over for a night of chit-chat, things take a turn for the weird. The really weird. What better way to introduce the next course than sobbing on the floor?

In the 30-minute special, Gelman invites a roster of buddies including Dale Dickey ("Justified"), Gilbert Gottfried, Fred Melamed ("The Crazy Ones"), Alison Pill ("The Newsroom"), Lance Reddick ("American Horror Story," "Fringe"), Anthony Atamanuik ("30 Rock"), and Alex Karpovsky ("Girls") to have a formal meal with the good china and chat about who comes from where and what they like about New York before Gelman throws a wrench into all the niceties.
