Kristen Stewart is still trying to distance herself from "Twilight," and the new trailer for the Sundance entry "Camp X-Ray" showcases what looks to be her heaviest role yet.

Stewart plays a new guard at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp, where -- like Clarice Starling in "Silence of the Lambs" -- she's told, "do not let them get inside your head." You can watch the trailer embedded at the top of this post.
Directed by first-timer Peter Slatter, "Camp X-Ray" also stars Lane Garrison ("Prison Break"), Julia Duffy ("Shameless"), and John Carroll Lynch ("Zodiac").

HitFix's Drew McWeeny gave the fim a "B" after seeing it at Sundance

"Camp X-Ray" opens in theaters and VOD October 28.

What do you think of the trailer? Has Stewart got the chops for "Camp X-Ray"?
