Fast National ratings for Wednesday, June 26, 2013.

"Big Brother" returned for its 15th season down significantly from last summer's debut, while "Masterchef" carried FOX to a Wednesday ratings win.

For the night, FOX averaged a 2.3 rating among adults 18-49 and 5.74 million viewers overall. CBS was second (1.5, 5.66 million), followed by NBC (1.0, 4.45 million), ABC (0.9, 3.35 million) and the CW (0.4, 1.37 million).

8 p.m. -- "Big Brother" (2.1, 6.31 million) and "Masterchef" (2.1, 5.36 million) tied in the demo, and "Big Brother" won among total viewers, but the CBS reality show was down 19 percent among young adults from last summer's premiere. NBC was third with "Dateline" (1.2, 5.48 million), followed by a "Middle" repeat and a new "Family Tools" on ABC (0.8, 3.23 million) and an "Arrow" repeat" on the CW (0.4, 1.5 million).

9 p.m. -- "Masterchef" inched up to a 2.4 demo rating and 6.12 million viewers, followed by CBS' "American Baking Competition" (1.2, 5.05 million), a "Law & Order: SVU" repeat on NBC (1.1, 4.96 million), a "Modern Family" repeat and the series finale of "How to Live With Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life)" on ABC (1.0, 3.31 million) and a "Supernatural" repeat on the CW (0.4, 1.23 million). 

10 p.m. --
A "Criminal Minds" repeat won the hour for CBS (1.2, 5.62 million), followed by ABC's "Nightline: The Lookout" (0.9, 3.51 million) and a "Chicago Fire" repeat on NBC (0.7, 2.91 million).
