Now that "Resident Evil" star Milla Jovovich has signed on for "The Expendables 3," the boys' club of the blockbuster action franchise has officially been broken - and returning star Terry Crews couldn't be happier about it.

"We needed that female energy, man. We needed that. it was really getting to be a bit of a guy fest...[or as] they call it [sometimes], a 'sausage fest," laughed the actor, stopping by for a chat while doing press for "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2" at San Diego Comic-Con. "We needed that estrogen mixed with testosterone to create a whole new brand."

"The Expendables 3" is slated for release on August 15, 2014.
