Steve Carell deals with a multitude of minions in new 'Despicable Me 2' trailer
Sequel also features the voices of Al Pacino, Russell Brand and Kristen Wiig
Steve Carell is back as the voice of evil mastermind Gru in the brand new trailer for "Despicable Me 2," but unsurprisingly the spotlight is on those little, yellow, gibberish-spouting minions that so many viewers fell in love with in the 2010 original.
In the teaser, two minions encounter some strange things one night (aided by John Carpenter's "Halloween" theme, naturally) after taking care of their domestic duties. It looks like someone is collecting them -- could it be Gru?
It also features the voices of returning cast mates Russell Brand, Miranda Cosgrove, Kristen Wiig, plus newcomers Steve Coogan and, as Gru's nemesis, Al Pacino.
And for those of you who just can't get enough, a spin-off film starring the minions is in the works for 2014 as well.
"Despicable Me" opens July 3, 2013
