Movie Power Rankings: Hollywood remembers Philip Seymour Hoffman
This week's Movie Power Rankings begins on a tragic note, as Hollywood and the rest of the world mourn the loss of Philip Seymour Hoffman, one of the top film actors of his generation. Hoffman turned in notable performances in dozens of films and was a regular fixture in the films of Paul Thomas Anderson. He picked up a Best Actor Oscar for his work in 2005's "Capote." He will be greatly missed by moviegoers. Some of his contemporaries responded to the bad news, including "Almost Famous" writer-director Cameron Crowe, plus George Clooney, Jeff Bridges, James Franco, and others.
