The Muppets came roaring back to life in 2011 with a movie of the same name directed by James Bobin and written by Jason Segel & Nicholas Stoller. Bobin and Stoller are both returning for the 2014 sequel, "Muppets Most Wanted," and now there's a new teaser trailer for the upcoming film.
As one would surmise, we don't get a whole lot of idea about the plot for the sequel (it's a jewel heist caper in Europe), but we do get a look at some of our favorite Muppets and some pretty funny humans as well. Ty Burrell, Ricky Gervais, and Tina Fey are all highlighted in the teaser and there are quick glimpses of other stars including Salma Hayek and Diddy, too.
If you're more curious about the puppets, you can spot all your favorites including the frog, the pig, the bear, the whatever, Lew Zealand, and Walter. You can even see Scooter offer up the notion that he has the moves like Jagger.
Perhaps though, if you're a Muppets fan the teaser is best summed up by Animal, with his simple statement "Sequel! Sequel!"
Are you looking forward to more Muppets? Do you have concerns that a jewel heist film may play a little too closely to the first Muppets sequel, "The Great Muppet Caper?"
"Muppets Most Wanted" will be on the big screen March 21, 2014.
