Humans are still tasty treats in 'Jurassic World' as trailer drops early
Humans have learned a lot in 10 years, according to Bryce Dallas Howard’s character in the “Jurassic World” trailer. Apparently we haven’t learned the right lessons though. When a park full of dinosaurs tries to kill everyone, the takeaway definitely shouldn’t be a bigger, better park. And damn sure shouldn’t be “Let’s genetically modify them to be even MORE dangerous!”
From open car safaris to the scariest dolphin show ever, the “Jurassic World” trailer does an excellent job of highlighting the infinite hubris of man.
If humanity refuses to acknowledge that we are nothing more than tasty treats to ancient apex predators, perhaps another lesson is in order. A teaching moment the carnivores of "Jurassic World" are clearly more than willing to shoulder.
“Jurassic World,” directed by Colin Trevorrow and starring Chris Pratt, roars into theaters on June 12, 2015.
