The first trailer for Snowden was released today, and it's got a plenty of things you'd expect based on what we already know of Edward Snowden's story (clandestine meetings, intense conversations, angry Glenn Greenwald, computer sounds) and a few things you might not (a sex scene with Snowden, his girlfriend, and a webcam).

If you don't think that what Snowden did was right or in the best interests of the American people, then this won't be the movie for you: Snowden is the hero of this movie, the government is the villain, and there isn't a gray area in sight. Hey, it's an Oliver Stone movie. Did you expect it to be subtle?

Snowden is set to be released on September 16.
