LOS ANGELES - Cedric Gervais won a Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording for his turn on Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness." Funny thing, that: he's never met the singer.

“I spoke to her team, it was done through labels and managers. [EDM’s] not really her world. I’ve never talked to her," Gervais said backstage at the Awards ceremony from the Staples Center in L.A.

The producer has managed to talk to Miley Cyrus, though, and is putting his spin on her current single "Adore You."

"It's a very cool record," he said of the March drop. "She sang amazingly on it."
