Browncoats unite! Joss Whedon and the original cast of "Firefly" are headed to Comic-Con.
Nearly ten years after the short-lived Joss Whedon sci-fi series first premiered on the FOX network, the Science channel is reuniting the crew of the Serenity (Nathan Fillion, Adam Baldwin, Alan Tudyk, Sean Maher and Michael Fairman are specifically named in the press release), along with Whedon and writer/exec-producer Tim Minear, at the annual San Diego convention, where they will discuss the "past, present and future" of the beloved fan favorite.
The panel is slated for Friday, July 13 at 12:30 PM in Ballroom 20.
Reruns of the series have been airing on Science since last year. It originally ran on the FOX network from September 20-December 20, 2002, before being cancelled due to low ratings.
Will you be at the "Firefly" panel, Comic Con attendees? Sound off in the comments!

June 27, 2012 at 8:45PM EST Reply to CommentI am so upset it's not on Saturday! This will be my first time at Comic Con and I was really hoping at least one of my favourite shows would be there on Saturday - but turns out, there are all there on Friday! Such bad luck. :( But good for those who have a Friday ticket, I'm sure the panel will be amazing. It was such a brilliant show.
