Oprah Winfrey's "Where Are They Now?” takes a sad turn this week as singer/TV star Brandy opens up about her much-publicized 2006 car accident.

The exclusive clip (above) from the episode shows Brandy in a one-on-one interview with Oprah, as she talks about the freeway pile-up which left one woman dead.

"I don't like to think about it," Brandy says tearfully, "because I don't think that's something I could ever get over or ever truly understand but that was one of the worst times in my life."

After taking time off from the spotlight, Brandy released her sixth album "Two Eleven" in 2011, and currently stars on the BET series "The Game."

The upcoming episode of "Where Are They Now?" also includes interviews with former "Renegade" star Lorenzo Lamas and Justin Jedlica, perhaps better known as "The Human Ken Doll."

"Where Are they Now?" airs this Sunday, August 3 at 9pm ET/PT on OWN.
