Sounds like "Magic Mike XXL" is going bigger and harder than the first movie.

"There are more explosions in this one," said star Joe Mangianello (piggybacking on my action-movie metaphor) while promoting the male-stripper sequel at CinemaCon alongside co-stars Channing Tatum, Adam Rodriguez, Matt Bomer and Kevin Nash.

Pretty sure he was referring to the choreography, but it's fun to hypothesize in other directions, isn't it?

Also, Channing tells us that stripping for a living is hard ("I was like, man, I don't really wanna take my clothes off right now"), better when you're doing it for a movie and also kind of like riding a bike, except with training wheels or something.  We're having fun here in Vegas.

"Magic Mike XXL" hits theaters on July 1.
