I Am Very Far is the sixth full length collection of new material from Austin's Okkervil River. The band is a melody-focused outfit of multi-instrumentalists whose sound encompasses folk, americana and indie-pop. It's telling (and cool) that in between their last fully Okkervil River album and I Am Very Far there came a collaboration with Roky Erickson of 13th Floor Elevators fame.
