New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival 2013
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival of 2013 is a 10-day, multicultural, and eclectic celebration of music and culture. Also known as, "Jazz Fest," hundreds of musicians play the event held at the Fair Grounds Race Course. Every style of music associated with New Orleans is represented at Jazz Fest, including Rock, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Country, R&B, Soul, and Gospel. Since its humble beginnings in the 1970's, the festival has hosted a variety local acts and artist. As the annual festival gained popularity, Jazz Fest has grown into a major tourism attraction/event in New Orleans, rivaling Mardi Gras. The festival today includes a wide variety of nationally known acts. This years Jazz Fest line-up is sure to please and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is not to be missed.
