Ladysmith Black Mambazo - Songs from a Zulu Farm

 Songs from a Zulu Farm is the latest addition to the bulging discography of Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and another in their ocasional series of children's albums. The album is largely a collection of traditional Zulu children's songs , with a version of "Old MacDonald" rendered in rural Zulu style.

Joseph Shabalala has been singing in groups since the 1950s. His most successful group, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, was formed in 1964, first put out a record in 1973, and has gone through almost 30 members while releasing upwards of fifty albums. members have died, members have been murdered,even; it's not all Gracelands and commercials for canned soup, y'know.
