This is a savage, dangerous world. Everything poses a threat. Even the local plants and animal life on Planet Shear are deadly. Because of this, you refuse to let your guard down, staying constantly alert, awaiting the next attack. But where will it come from? You hear rustling in the nearby bushes. Against your will, goosebumps begin creeping down your neck and you break out in a cold sweat. Could this be a friend or foe? You crouch, staying as low to the ground as possible, and make your way slowly toward the spot where the faint sounds originate. Carefully, you begin to draw your weapon. This is no time to stop and deliberate. Without further thought, you lunge into the bushes and hope that you come out of this alive. The brilliant creators of Left 4 Dead, Turtle Rock Studios, present the next-generation of multiplayer shooters Evolve, the game which begs the question: will you be the hunter or the hunted? Set in the hostile, perilous setting of Planet Shear, Evolve gives you the option to play as a single monster or in four-vs.-one matches, where you and three of your friends can unite against the lone predator. Regardless of which option you choose, you'll have access to a dazzling array of powerful weapons and abilities, so whether you're alone or fighting with your comrades, you can be sure the competition will be fierce. If you choose to play as a hunter, you'll soon discover that every hunter's role is vital to the group's chance of survival. With four different types of hunters Trapper, Support, Assault and Medic you and your teammates will each bring a unique skillset to the table and you'll need varying perspectives to successfully defeat the monster. As the solo monster, you'll have to rely on your animalistic senses to stalk the humans and execute an attack, proving once and for all that you're the dominant species. As you advance through the game, you'll be able to unlock new upgrades, skins and perks for either the hunters or the monster. In this brutal world, will you have the skills needed to make it out alive?
