Codes and Keys, released today on Atlantic Records, is the seventh studio album from revered indie-rock band Death Cab for Cutie. Led by Ben Gibbard since the band's formation in late-nineties Washington state, Death Cab for Cutie have ridden out line-up and label changes to increasing success and critical adulation. Gibbard asserts that the new album is "less guitar-centric" than previous DCFC outings.
The first single from Codes and Keys is "You Are A Tourist" the video for which was shot in one take.
