Michelle Yeoh stars in this film where she plays Aung San Suu Ky, a pivotal figure in Burma's move towards democracy.  Luc Besson directs the film with a script from Rebecca Frayn.  Frayn spent a significant amount of time working on the screenplay and interviewed people close to Aung San Suu Ky as she did so.
