Hugh Jackman is a tormented father and Jake Gyllenhaal is a driven police detective who are brought together by the disappearance of two small girls in the riveting, painful 'Prisoners'.

Prisoners is a very intriguing suspense thriller that has little violence, yet still satisfyingly!! Hugh Jackman is amazing as the role of a worried father, who, when she and her friend ambiguously disappear after a Thanksgiving meal at their neighbor's house. It's an intense, intriguing, and a provocative film that sometimes looses part of my interest due to the slightly slow and over-long pacing. My Grade for Prisoners: B
