2013 Tribeca Film Festival

A moment from 'Mistaken for Strangers,' the opening night film at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival

The Tribeca Film Festival began in 2002, less than a year after the attacks on 9/11.  From that time to this, the festival has grown to a force to be reckoned with, showcasing more than 1,000 films and helping strengthen the New York City film industry.  Look for the festival to continue in that vein this year, with 23 different world premieres.  You can also see the latest from Richard Linklater, Neil LaBute, and Mira Nair at Tribeca this year.

Tom Berninger's "Mistaken for Strangers" is the opening night film.
