Kristopher Tapley SLP was listed at #2 on the list I had.
December 17, 2012 at 2:17PM ESTworkmaniaxx That's what the award's website says Kris. Also, Phil Hoffman wasn't nominated but you have him winning best supporting actor. Christoph Waltz apparently won that award and Tommy Lee Jones was the runner-up. Also, the Best Music/Soundtrack award has been left off: The winner(s) are a tie between Django Unchained and Moonrise Kingdom.
December 17, 2012 at 2:40PM ESTKristopher Tapley Ah, my mistake on Hoffman. Was working from a template.
December 17, 2012 at 2:54PM ESTKristopher Tapley Any insight on Best Scene? The list I had listed four of the five nominees, which seemed odd, so I left it off.
December 17, 2012 at 2:55PM ESTworkmaniaxx four-way tie haha swear on my life; very odd.
December 17, 2012 at 3:01PM ESTa The "Best Scene" category appears to be a four-way tie:

December 17, 2012 at 2:57PM EST Reply to CommentWhat's up with all the ties? I can see one, maybe two, but any more than that is simply ludacris. Also, Ted and Moonrise Kingdom are two very different types of comedies with different tonal elements. In no way should they be tied. This group is just plain undecisive.
a It's possible that the ties are the result of different critics within the group voting for different films.
December 17, 2012 at 3:15PM ESTAnd there's nothing wrong with liking two different things about equally, especially when it comes to comedies.
m1 "Ted and Moonrise Kingdom are two very different types of comedies with different tonal elements."
December 17, 2012 at 10:42PM ESTYes, which is why there was a tie. The tie acknowledges the apparent strengths and differences of both movies, which is why these critics gave the award to both films. Duh.
And I say this as someone who hasn't seen Ted and doesn't consider Moonrise Kingdom a comedy.

December 19, 2012 at 4:10PM EST Reply to CommentSilver Linings and Lincoln's screenplays being on the same level is a travesty (one throughout the season).
And yes, why no "Flight" for best scene? Perhaps one of the most tense sequences I've ever had to sit through.
