Superman fans have been wondering for quite some time if the Man of Steel will be making a guest appearance on his cousin's show, "Supergirl". Turns out, he will be!

While Henry Cavill is off battling the Dark Knight in cinemas next spring, a younger version of his character will be appearing in episode 13, according to TV Line.

Superman has made a few cameos on "Supergirl," he has been more of an off-screen presence, a legend, with whom the titular heroine, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), shares a familial bond.

This young version of Kal-El is currently being cast. The lucky actor will first appear in a flashback in episode 13. While the article doesn't say if he will be a recurring character, it's possible he and his adoptive family, the Kents, will appear in a few flashbacks throughout the series.

"Supergirl" currently airs on CBS Mondays at 8/9C.
