Nerds will pay good money for exact replicas, and Lucasfilm has finally made a particularly enticing team-up happen that will bleed us dry. You can now buy Star Wars: The Force Awakens prop replicas from the company who worked on the props for the film itself. Get ready for your bank account to suffer, Rey's staff, Poe's helmet, Kylo's lightsaber and more are now up for sale.

Retailer Anovos sells replica costumes for the discerning fan, but now Prop Shop has taken on new official replicas for the company including lightsabers and helmets. Previously you could purchase nice quality Master Replicas FX-Lightsabers and mini-helmets for not too bad a price tag (bizarrely enough they never got around to selling Star Wars: The Clone Wars' Ahsoka lightsabers), but you won't be so lucky this time around.

The most expensive Force Awakens item from Prop Shop right now is Darth Vader's melted helmet, which will set you back $3,500, but nothing is affordable for the average collector, unfortunately. The company writes, "These Ultimate Studio Edition items are as close as possible to the original prop used in the film and built at a level that has never been available before. These collectibles are considered interchangeable on set for the original prop."

Not serious enough for you? How about this?

To protect your investment, your Star Wars collectible includes RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) technology that can validate the authenticity of your item. The serial number listed on the enclosed certificate and medallion of authenticity is also encoded on the RFID device embedded in your collectible.

Please be aware that while the primary purpose of the embedded RFID technology is to validate your collectible’s authenticity, the Walt Disney Family of Companies may introduce products or services that can recognize the RFID technology and deliver experiences or value if the guest chooses to use their collectible for those purposes. Information will be collected in connection with use of the RFID technology only if the guest chooses to avail themselves of such products and services.

Wowza. They'll even arrive at your door in a custom wooden crate inspired by the packaging of the film props. Right now they're only available in the United States, which will make lots of international fans annoyed I'm sure. Would you consider paying this much for an official prop replica? I would love a replica Rey staff, but that is a pretty penny I don't have.
