Interviews can be a stressful affair under any circumstances. At an event like Comic-Con — where talent is whisked down a line of press like the world’s strangest conveyor belt — it can be downright harrowing. So you have to find a moment to have some fun!

HitFix Harpy is always up for a game. So when Peter Capaldi and Steven Moffat of “Doctor Who” agreed to a lightning round of word association, we knew it was going to be a laugh. I just didn’t realize it would also be a tiny window into their minds.

For those who don’t know, Word association is a simple game. One person says a word — in this case related to “Doctor Who” — and the other person says the first word that springs to mind.
