Another day, another set of new images from the new season of Game of Thrones to dissect. Today’s crop comes from an HBO featurette that focuses on the camera operators that help bring the director’s vision to life. Game of Thrones films simultaneously in multiple locations around the globe. As such, the teams are divided into “Dragon Unit” and “Wolf Unit,” which is pretty sweet, to be honest.

The video itself is a fascinating look at how much work goes into getting a single shot framed up and completed in the harsh conditions Game of Thrones films in. Be sure to check it out!

Of course, the highlight of the featurette was HBO’s decision to use behind-the-scenes footage from the new season. Not only does it help illustrate the importance of camera operators, but it gives fans a few hints about this year’s storylines. Since we’re off the book map, every scrap of imagery is new and exciting for everyone! Below I collected eleven images that stood out as interesting or relevant. Did I miss a moment that caught your eye? Let me know in the comments!

  • #1: Westeros is still at war.

If you recognize the House sigils represented on those horses, give me a shout in the comments!

  • #2: Not entirely sure what they're building, but it appears to be of Wildling construction.

The structure is similar in design to the buildings that were sacked by the Night's King and his people(?) last season. If I had to hazard a guess, it looks as if the Wildings are beginning to rebuild their lives in 'The Gift.'

  • #3: That is a lot of Dothraki.

Whatever is happening, it looks like a battle. Whether on behalf of Dany or just a run-of-the-mill raid is anyone's guess. (I'm guessing it's on behalf the Drogo's Khaleesi.)

  • #4: Davos still hasn't killed Melisandre yet.

The man is a saint. But what are they talking about? Could it be whether or not the Red God can perform a ressurection?

  • #5: The Dothraki know how to party.

Is this before or after the menacing walk from earlier?

  • #6: Daario and Jorah are unlikely allies.

Why are they skulking around in the allies of Meereen? We'll find out soon enough!

  • #7: The Sons of the Harpy are still at it, slaughtering civilians at will.

Has Tyrion ascended to the rank of ruler of Meereen in Dany's absence? Or is there a power struggle afoot?

  • #8: Yara/Asha is having a bad time.

Her plotline was cut from last season, but it appears she will be headed back towards Winterfell this year.

  • #9: We finally see the Nameless Men remove a man's face for archival in the Hall of Faces.

But will the deceased donator — who is seen multiple times in the video — prove important?

  • #10: Who are these children!?

My first thought was Rickon and another boy. But that appears to be the sigil of House Stark in the background. And it's the same scene from earlier in the featurette that shows this is clearly Winterfell. Could it be a flashback to when Ned was a boy?

  • #11: Dany looks no worse for wear.

Whatever happens between her and the Dothraki horde that discovered her at the end of last season doesn't seem to have shaken her up much.
