[UPDATE] - The trailer has arrived!

Over the last few days, the Olympics have stolen the hearts and attention of the world. Which is why it is obviously the best time for Lucasfilm to remind everyone that we are only four months away from the next installment of the Star Wars universe. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has been slowly parceling out information, but if this teaser for the upcoming trailer is any indications, we’re about to get a face full of new imagery tonight.

Get hyped!

The two 15 second teases were cut together by ComicBook.com. Watching them back-to-back is the most new footage Star Wars fans have seen since the first Rogue One trailer dropped (unless they were present in London for Star Wars Celebration last month).

Things I noticed:

•   The rebels are definitely setup on Yavin IV, which makes sense as Rogue One immediately precedes A New Hope.
•  Chirrut Imwe (Donnie Yen) is present when Jyn Erso took out the stormtroopers in the previous trailer.
•   Director Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) stands in his ship above a desert planet. Tatooine? Jakku? Yet another Outer Rim wasteland?

Tune in later tonight for more in-depth analysis after the full trailer drops!
