Fantasy SYTYCD Rules and Instructions
The first thing you need to do to play Fantasy So You Think You Can Dance is create or join a league. To learn more about creating a private league, joining a private league or joining the public HitFix Open league visit the FAQ section.
Once you're in a league, you play by ranking the contestants from best (least likely to be eliminated) to worst (most likely to be eliminated). There is an easy to use "drag and drop" system with pictures of all the contestants to set your picks.
When contestants start getting eliminated is when you start scoring points. The closer you have the eliminated constant to the bottom of your list the more points you'll score.
The maximum points for each elimination will gradually increase from 100 at the start of the competition to 400 at the finale. To find out the exact scoring details check the question ‘How does the scoring work’ in the FAQ.
You picks will be locked for a few hours starting when the results show airs on the East Coast. Other than you can move contestants around and retool your picks time and time again as often as you like with absolutely no penalties. You'll get a reminder e-mail when you're running out of time to make adjustments, but don't worry of if you forget. If you have the right contestants in the right spots, you'll still score points each week even if you only set your picks one time.
That's all there is to it! If you have a question that wasn't answered here check the FAQ and if you still need help e-mail leagues@hitfix.com.
