Fantasy Project Runway Game Rules
Join a League
The first thing you need to do to play Fantasy Project Runway is create or join a league. To create a league all you need to do is enter a league name and password of your choice on the Create a League page and invite your friends to play. Your friends will need the league name and password to join your league so as part of the league creation process you'll be prompted to invite them to join by entering their e-mail address or inviting them through Facebook using Facebook send.
Rank the Contestants
Once you're in a league, you play by ranking the contestants from best (least likely to be eliminated) to worst (most likely to be eliminated) using our "drag and drop" system with pictures of all the contestants.
Score Points
Each time a contestant is eliminated you'll have the chance to score points. The closer you have the eliminated contestant to the bottom of your list the more points you'll score. If you have a contestant ranked dead last, you'll score maximum points, but for each place you move away from last, the number of points you'll score drops. For example, if 10 contestants remained you’d score maximum points if you had the eliminated contestant ranked 10th, slightly less if you had the eliminated contestant ranked 9th, slightly less than that if you had the eliminated contestant ranked 8th and so on.
Additionally, if you have a contestant very highly ranked and they are eliminated, you can actually lose points so be careful.
The number of points available will increase from 100 per elimination during the early episodes of the competition to 200 per elimination from the Top 10 through the finale. To find out the exact scoring details check the question 'How does the scoring work' in the FAQ.
Update Your Picks
Your picks will be locked for a few hours starting when the show airs on the East Coast. Other than that you can move contestants around and retool your picks time and time again as often as you like with absolutely no penalties. You'll get a reminder e-mail when you're running out of time to make adjustments, but don't worry if you forget. Unlike other fantasy games where you fall behind if you miss a week, with HitFix Fantasy TV Leagues, if you have the right contestants in the right spots, you'll still score points each week even if you only set your picks one time.
That's all there is to it! If you have a question that wasn't answered here check the FAQ and if you still need help e-mail leagues@hitfix.com.
