Worst scene: Anything at the beach house. It's not even up to Nancy Myers standards.
Why it's so bad it's bad: As Drew McWeeny noted in his review, this is a movie that is embarrassingly about rich white people problems. Forget about a realistic answer to how Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's character could have pulled off any of his multiple affairs, this movie can't find any funny material for two pros like Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann. Most of the time they seem unclear how broad or subtle to take the film's comedic ideas (which is the director's job, frankly) and that flatlines the film. In theory, this could have been a women's revenge comedy in the vein of "9 to 5." Instead, it's a cookie cutter and forgettable rom com that wastes everyone's time (including the audience's).
